Meet T-Bone.
T-Bone is loud, energetic, and especially busy when I’m hoping to get some sleep. His tail has had a little hooked tip since birth.
Male · A little hook at the tip of his tail

T-Bone has a remarkable amount of energy. He’s also very good at saving some of it for the night.
There’s running. There’s noise. There’s the occasional collision with something that was doing absolutely nothing to deserve it. Sharing a home with him has not done my sleep schedule any favors.
The evening can change quickly
He can look perfectly peaceful in a photograph. A handsome tabby, just sitting there. You wouldn’t necessarily guess how much noise he’s capable of making a few hours later.
That difference is very T-Bone. The quiet moments are lovely. I’ve learned to enjoy them while they last.
The little twist in his tail
The tip of his tail has had a small hook in it since he was born. It’s one of those details I immediately associate with him.
I haven’t tried to make that little bend into a big story. It’s just part of how I recognize my boy, along with his face and his complete lack of interest in moving quietly.
Living with T-Bone
Every cat here has a different way of occupying the house. T-Bone’s version comes with sound effects.
I love him. I would also be very happy if he started scheduling the more energetic parts of his day before bedtime.
