THE LITTLE TROUBLEMAKER

Meet Juno.

I helped deliver Juno at a friend’s home. Three years later, she still likes to be involved in absolutely everything.

Female · About three years old

I’ve known Juno since her very first day. I helped deliver her at a friend’s home, then raised her myself. She’s about three now, and somewhere along the way this tiny kitten became a very affectionate, very busy member of the household.

Personal space is a loose concept

Juno likes being close. She wants attention, wants to know what I’m doing, and usually has an opinion about whether the other cats should be having a quiet afternoon.

Piper would prefer a little less of that enthusiasm. Juno keeps trying to involve her anyway. Their ideas of a nice afternoon do not always line up.

Our early days

She had vomiting and gastroenteritis as a kitten. Those early days brought plenty of worry about her stomach and a lot to learn about looking after her.

It was a worrying start to our life together. Seeing how lively she is now means a lot when I think back to that little kitten.

Juno, these days

Now she’s lively, clingy, and forever finding something to do. Usually with company, whether the company asked or not.

I’ve been there since the beginning, and she’s still very much my girl. I would just appreciate it if she occasionally let Piper finish a nap.
